Medano Pass

I'm missing the cleanup due to a trip planned before a date was posted. We'll be close to Medano Pass and I'm wondering if there's any current info about it. A few years ago it was gated when I was there and was told it would be a year or two before re-opening. I assume it's now open but would appreciate any update from any recent personal experience.

There was a slide that closed it this spring but I've read that it's been opened since. There's a website that has the road status. I think it's the Sand Dune park website.

It's a trail I want to do.
