I used to be into this when I was younger, but it looks like it has come a long way.

Im still into it, but not like I was a few years ago. Here are a couple of mine.....
My AX-10 Crawler Bronco....

I built this one while I was going through my divorce. I built the cage and interior, and added the working winch and scale accessories. The tires are IROC Swamper clones.
These are my Losi mini crawlers....

I guess I dont hqave any pics of my Mini Pro. i run a brushless motor on it (it came modded except for the motor) the orange one I added a high torque steering servo, metal lockers, weighted tires and the Pro-line tires.
These are a couple of my Losi Micro crawlers....

They are a mix of 1/24th and 1/25th scale model cars and RC. I did the orange Courier first which includes stretched aluminum rear links and driveshaft, I made the Exo cage out of wire soldered together, and a better steering servo, aluminum axle housings and aluminum transmission (when they first came out they had some clearance issues in the transmission and the aluminum case fixed the problem). The red truck (the puller) has a stretched frame and driveshaft, and whats called MiClaw tires.
As a hobby they can get pricey. I have around 600 in the Bronco and at least 400 in each of the Mini Crawlers. When you start adding the price of chargers, balancers (for LiPo batteries) and then the batteries themselves it can run into the thousands. I started using Nimh batteries and have upgraded slowly (the LiPo's give better run times and power). But there is a ton of stuff out there now days....

Those are awesome. Thanks for sharing. I am a huge old school Broncos fan, and the WWF figure (looks like one to me) puts the icing on the cake. Anyway, I take it these are not gas and are electric. I used to be into the gas powered stuff back in the 90s, and in the 80s, I had the Frogger and the Hornet Kits.

Oh . . . one of the reasons I posted this is because a friend of mine seen some real 4x4 pics and said they look like RC cars.
