My name is Andrew, I am a Mortgage Banker/Skier/Wheeler/Apparently mechanic (trying to keep up with the maintenance of my rig and fixing things as they break).
I started out a couple years ago with a TJ, 4" lift and 33's. At that point my knowledge was "Dana what? Dana whatever...." Until like all of my hobbies and obsessive personality I learned that dana 35 meant: wheel falls off if/when it breaks.... 3 weeks later I'd swapped in a hp30/44 arbs, regeared, put on a few bolt on unnecessary items and bumpers.... 6 months later this rig was sold.
Rig number 2: Yj, TBI 350, 101" wheelbase, walker evans beadlocks, Atlas, hp60/d70, detroits, 3 linked/4linked, on 40's. I added full hydro and a few Crane/Yukon goodies, than ended up selling that as well. I learned a ton and wheeled some great trails, ultimately ending up with a diesel I never thought I'd own and a trailer I needed to learn how to reverse.
Finally to the current: As the trails get progressively tougher and tougher, getting away from a full bodied rig seemed like an ideal situation and I stumbled on the current rig I am wheeling today. With a pretty cool pedigree (won top truck challenge in 1999'ish, and raced KOH in 2010 it seemed like an ideal fit.

Currie Rock Jock 60 rear

Biggest problem with the setup: The guy in the drivers seat. :lmao: -Current issue..... the blown up gears in the rear end I need to fix...
Here are a few photos snapped on Penrose recently.... the last photo was the maiden/shakedown run I ended up having to do solo on the Rubicon. As I bought it out of Cali, I couldn't pass up the opportunity!
