Could have used this before mine flew out of that little tray, out the open window and got run over by a semi.

I can't tell from the pics. Is it the entire tray? If not I don't understand how its attached to the tray. Is is solid enough for video? Strength compared to a ram-x mount, which I currently use and like except for the excessive windshield space required?
