Gonna need to post specifics if you want help. What code? What solenoid? What symptoms? What have you already tried?

Fair enough.
when starting out in it " bogs" down. I have to shift down to first gear then up to drive in order to drive. I recently took it to a transmission shop and they told me that it is a solenoid circuit. I took it to AutoZone for a reading and this is exactly what it said...the code Is p0753

Anytime a P07XX code comes up you're first step should be to remove and clean the NSS.

Wish I could help, But my Alldata is out..
7XX sounds like a trans issue.

Sounds like its going into "limp mode" and the tranny stays in 3rd gear. Try what Frank suggested, he knows XJs. I'd also check the TCU relay in the fuse/relay box in the engine compartment and the electrical connection at the transmission. It could also be a bad shift solenoid but I'd check the easy and cheap stuff first.

The Range Select Signal goes through the contacts in the NSS.
