Looking for some pics of another XJ with the RE 5.5 Long Arm kit.
I am interested to see how the kit fits your rig, specifically the rear axle.
Thanks

Are you looking for a linked rear?? Other than that I am not sure how the long arms have anything to do with the rear. My 5.5 rear re springs gave up the ghost a long time ago.

Correct, the rear is not affected in any way by the La Kit.
Another option before you drop the coin on the RE Kit:

Or this one if you need a complete kit.

If I am not mistaken he has the 5.5" LA but his rear axle is sitting a bit far forward. It does do this due to the fact that it flexes back as it comes up. His looks a bit more forward than mine though I only have the 4.5 inch leafs. I do believe you need to run boomerang shackles on those to give the spring the room it needs.

Correct... I am looking for some comparisons to see if this is common with the RE rear springs or if it just worked out that way for my application.
Since i am doing the 8.8 axle swap in a couple weeks I'll just have the fab shop make me some custom spring perches and/or get the 2+ Perch Kit from Ruff Stuff (http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/2PLUS.html).
That should make relocating the rear axle back an inch or two easier.

The 5.5 kit comes with the 4.5 leafs and a longer shackle so we may be running the same springs.

I'm in Colorado Springs. Normally I do installs, but my project is taking up all available space for the foreseeable future.
