So as some of you may remember my sister in-law had purchased this Bronco as her first car. It ended up just sitting around her house, and never getting driven. Well somehow its now ended up on my driveway and is here to stay.
Over all it runs and drives very well. More Pics to come once it hits the driveway.

Like it Chris. I need to get working on the wheeling rig this year.

I was having an issue popping the rear passenger wheel seal. It ended being a slightly bent axle shaft. I ended upgrading them to a stronger set, and replaced the wheel bearings, and seals for hopefully the last time. Ive done it so many times now on this rig, that it only takes about 30 minutes. On the other hand it took me nearly an hour to press the 10 new wheel studs into the new axleshafts.
I ended up using a combination of an impact, and brute force to do it. I used an old drum, and wheel with the same lug pattern. And then ran the lug nuts down in a star pattern until they would no longer turn. Then I would stand the assemble on end, and hit the back of the stud with a brass drift pin and BFH. Then flip it back over and tighten with the impact. Repeated this process until the studs were fully pulled in.

well I think ditching the ttb for solid d44. the 8.8 is ok but the 9" would be better.
good to see its a 5spd....not many off them around.

The 8.8 is 95% the strength as the 9. So it doesn't make much sense swapping. The TTB does have some draw backs, but is fairly reliable and can be built up nice if you know what your doing with it. It's no solid axle thou your right there.

Meh! Its that loose nut behind the wheel that finds the limits. :D
EDIT: Finding a 5-speed for a 5.0 should be much easier than finding one for the I-6/Windsor bell pattern. Never mind how I know this... :frown:

After a while of planning and thinking, we have decided to turn the bronco into a more capable wheeler. Here's a brief outline of the build plans-
-Bring the Front Up to 6" of lift
-Ad extended radius arms
-regear to 5.13
-LSD front and rear.
-RCV TTB axle shafts for the front.
-Upgrades to the 8.8 to hold 37s
-37x12.5 R16.5 Grooved Wrangler MTs military take offs
-Custom 12 Bolt Hummer Wheels
-Front Winch Bumper
-Rear Bumper with Tire Swing
-Sliders
-10k+ Winch with synthetic line
-Cb
-Partial Exo-Cage
As well as upgrading support systems like; dual batterys, 3g alternator conversion, etc.
The best part about it is, we had some money left over from our tax refund this year and have already purchased-
A front and rear DIY Bumper Kit
Material for Sliders
Some misc parts to install my old CB.
As well as a 12K Engo winch with Synthetic 3/8 Line.
The bumpers are similar to this. However because I ordered the winch style, neither the center light hole, or the logo will be present on the front bumper.
The rear bumper is rather basic, but will leave me a solid foundation to build a swing out on later.
And a Generic picture of the winch and what it comes with for $475.
Also a few random pictures of Broncos on 37s to help give an idea of the end goal.

Christopher, Who did you order the bumper kit from? And you got my curiosity up about the Klondike Bar!
