West Magnolia and Mammoth Gultch 112414

KB and I headed up to Rollinsville area yesterday. 1st we ran Magnolia West, been a while since I've been up there and we had a blast. Snow was a lot of fun and added to the difficulty.

Cooked a few dogs and shared a few lies next to this old mine.

Then we headed up to Mammoth Gulch. Always a crap shoot with the snow but the snow was perfect. Had to work it but you could make progress (mostly) made it to the end of Mammoth Gulch by the old reservoir site.

We made it up the main trail quite a ways before hitting some serious drifts. I hit the last one hard thinking it was soft like all the rest and it was like hitting a concrete wall! My front end was about 4' in the air.

Good times and the snow season is just starting!

sami's rock! miss mine. but it was not much sami left.....toy axles stretched front frame 7" yj 6" lift springs with 2 pulled, 3 linked rear on 6" lift TJ fabtec coils on 37"s....was more a frank'n zuk!
