I'm looking to get out Sunday, anyone have any suggestions for trails w/o too much snow? Interested in heading west or north of Denver.
TIA!

I'm just east of Evergreen and got 8" of snow last night but we have some warm days before Sunday coming up. I'd be down with getting out Sunday too. Maybe some of the "lower", south facing trails like Ute/Cascade or?

This time of year, west and/or north of Denver will find snow. The Woodland Park area trails are a safe bet this time of year.

I've never done Ute or Cascade, I'm flexible but don't feel like busting deep snow drifts. There are two, maybe three of us looking to get out.
Tom, I don't mind snow, I just don't want to spend the day winching.

It looks as if vdub and I are doing Bunce on Saturday. If you're flexible for last minute plans I should be able to give a good status report as to snow on Bunce Sat eve...

I'll be keeping my eye on this - may be able to get out Sunday. Would like to run with some new people, and meet the folks on the Forum.

You could spend a day on Cascade with all of the spurs and a few mines. Nothing too challenging either. And I'm with you; I don't want to spend the day winching. I would "think" most trails on the south would be good by Sunday. I'm at 7,400ft and a majority of the snow is already gone.

I was thinking about wheeling sunday or Monday. I might be up for joining if you settle on a trail my stock rubicon could handle.

We've decided to hit Yankee Hill - http://www.frontrange4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?22761-Yankee-Hill-Sunday-Feb-3rd&p=281292#post281292
Feel free to join us Jack, I don't think you'd have problems but if you do we'll make sure you don't get stuck if the snow is deep.
