View Full Version : AMC 360 Rebuild Complete!

Finally finished my AMC 360 rebuild and got to drive the rig for the first time in 2 months... Also removed the rear seat for cargo room and added a 51" LED light bar... CB Radio install comes next!

nice! did you do any performance mods to the 360? I had one in my Commando that was built with a cam and bored a little over and a new intake...it was a beast. had one of the nicest sounds to a v8 I'd heard...lopping and deep, just waiting to be unleashed. loved it.

It's a pretty stock 360. I threw a rod this winter so it was time to rebuild it. I haven't really had a chance to wind it up yet since it's still being broke in and all, but I'm looking forward to it.

Got any pictures of the rebuild process? I'd love to see some photos with info on what you are doing. I'm sure I am not the only one.

I had the whole build done at Colorado Engine in Arvada. They unfortunately did not take any photos.
