So today my passenger side blinker decided to stop working. The light and everything works it just doesn't blink. Also my running light on that side has not worked for quite a while and one of my speakers on the same side does not work. I know it doesn't need a new bulb or speaker because that was all replaced this last summer.

I thinking its a short because I don't know what else it could be. And could this be effecting all my problems on that side? I don't really know squat about wiring or electrical stuff so any input is appreciated.

If all the bulbs that should blink light up, then it's possible that the turn signal flasher unit needs to be replaced. Usually they are not very expensive and just plug in somewhere behind the dash.

The other problems might be unrelated.

So none of the passenger side blinkers work? Dash, front, rear? And they just come on solid without flashing? What about when you turn on the hazards?

It is possible it is the flasher unit. It is a little metal box under the dash that actually makes it blink. Not likely related to the other problems, but never say never.

They come on but are just solid. Hazards I am not sure.

Maybe. The flasher would cause it on both sides. I'm thinking it is the switch.

My Cherokee has separate flashers for turns and hazards, they are little round plugs on the fuse panel.
