Canyonlands National Park Proposed Day-Use Permits

Don't know how many of you have been on White Rim Road or Elephant Hill in the Moab area, but I thought the proposed limits are a bit on the light side. I've posted comments opposing this, and offer up the same opportunity to the members of this group.

I've done Elephant Hill (with you, Gary!) and it didn't seem overly crowded, maybe we were there on a quiet day. I guess this area would be eliminated from EJS, the "official" groups are usually more than 20 by themselves.

I replied as well withe the same sentiment. I can see their side of the story as I witnessed a couple tourists walking on cryptobiotic soil.
