Don't know for certain. Tried last year early May and could not reach the first mine. Guanella pass may still be closed. The Guanella Pass Road Information Line is 303-679-2422

5/25/13 - Made it to about 1/2 past the initial switchbacks before being blocked by snow. Blocked at about 2/3 of a mile before the first mine. Looks like it should be open to the mine in a couple of weeks.

Thanks Tom but 2013 info probably isn't very relevant today!

This time of year, the Woodland Park area is pretty clear. Anything else is going to be snow bashing.

There was a recent report of someone making it around the full loop at Slaughterhouse. Ah yes here it is, it never made it to a trip report just updated planning thread.

I posted the conditions in a trail report last week. http://www.frontrange4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?22921-Ironclads-Bunce It sounded like they all made it through.
Timeframe is whenever I wake up. LOL

Thanks for the offer Max but heading south seems to make more sense after seeing the snow. I had my fill of it for this season. ;)
