So my jeep startin acting up and the engine light has been coming on a off. So I decided to take it to the dealership to fix the issue. Turns out it's the dreaded P06DD faulty oil pump. So they replaced it under warranty. Well here is the ringer they charged me for the new oil and filter.... I had just replaced the oil and filter a few days before. What's up with that??? Dealerships will do anything to get that extra buck... Anyone else have this experience or is it just me?

They made a couple dollars and you got a new oil pump, I'd say you won! Nice to have a warranty, something I haven't had for a long time so everything is out of my pocket.

I get it, but one would think the new oil would be apart of the replacing the oil pump process.

james the oil should have been part of the warranty.
it ia required part off the deal!
I would be disuting the oil charge.
