Great time on Wheeler Lake

Well ended up just being My buddy and I today on Wheeler today. Trail was much rougher than I remember it being, guess I need to visit more often. With just two we made a quick trip up and hung out up top a little til/ the rain started. Came back down, near the end I had a rear brake line burst. 'Twas a bit scary but all went well and repaired it hillbilly style to get me home.

Nice pics. I ran this trail on Saturday with some friends, and we camped outside of Alma. This was my first time at Wheeler. We got a little rain (and hail) halfway up Bowling Ball Hill. Beautiful scenery and fun obstacles.

Nice pics. I ran this trail on Saturday with some friends, and we camped outside of Alma. This was my first time at Wheeler. We got a little rain (and hail) halfway up Bowling Ball Hill. Beautiful scenery and fun obstacles.

It's a fun/bouncy trail. Sunday was really empty, didn't see many folks at all on the trail. Where outside of Alma did you camp?

Some friends-of-friends had some private land on which we camped; about 2 miles outside of Alma on the road to Kite Lake. I'd been around Fairplay, and been around Breck, but never on Hwy 9 in-between. Its beautiful over there.

HAHA!!! Hoosier has some nice hikes, trails, 4x4 etc. Always great to have friends with land
