Hi all!

Looking to go out Thursday (8/27) for an easy to moderate run. Mainly looking to go explore parts of this beautiful state. I've looked at several trails on TD.com and thinking about a moderate trail, nothing technical. I'm flexible with time & trail location.

If anyone's free and wants to do a mid-week run, let me know! Hope y'all had a good week!

I've been wanting to run Red Cone & Webster, I'd be up for that. It has a low end rating of 4, which I'd say is moderate. I may even take my small Jeep!

Barbour Fork and Devil's Canyon are other's I've wanted to check out. 4/4 and 3/4 respectively.

@TexanInColorado - poke!

The original poster currently has a stock 2wd 4runner..
I was thinking as an option Peak 10 at Breck could be fun...also never done it.

Toyota makes 4Runners in a 2wd option? Jeep did make some 2wd's, too... What is the 4 in 4Runner for then? I always thought it was supposed to mean it's a 4-wheeler!! What a conundrum.

I would be all about running Peak 10.

Likewise, out. No way I can make it work for Thursday. Posted run for Satuday, see calendar for details.

I remember the first time someone told me their cherokee was 2WD. I didn't believe them, had to go and look.

However; OP's name is "TexanInColorado" that would be a state you could pick up a strange 2WD rig that is commonly seen in 4WD.

Good luck with the run and keep the rubber side down boys, cheers.

Looks like sdswingr and myself are the only able to go and no words from OP. I'm inclined to hold off, see if there's more interest next week or something. I'm planning on attending The Dude's Saturday Slaughterhouse run.

@MultiScuf - I don't think I was on I-25 yesterday. Maybe it was on 70.

If you've not sent a PM, that might catch her attention more than a new post in the thread

@Jim - Good idea, I'll shoot a PM next time.

@MultiScuf - Yep! If you saw a flamboyantly colored chopped XJ, it was most likely me.

@sdswingr - Yeah, let's do something next week. I'm open Thursday, or any other day (I love picking when I work).

Yeah, my good days are either Wednesday or Thursday. Just don't want to run anything where I may break things...the stock JK is very capable..but still don't have a ton of clearance.

IF I can get this damn trans out, slave cylinder replaced, and back together, I could do something close on wedneday, i.e. pole hill, Johnny''s park, rock creek, bunce school. I haven't been on pole hill or bunch yet, not sure this thing is ready for MSV, coney or ironclads yet. Could look at caribou as well, never been all the way across that one yet, and last I knew the trail over to Eldora was open as well. Something to think about.
