Lmfao......mine has 160k on it needs a injection pump, turbo, trans and converter.....25k worth of part.
Ya its had a hard life as a field service truck for a civil contractor.....
But the F650 super truck in the same configuration would be a longer living truck.

CUMMINS!

Ours is the massive gas engine. So not only is it in for repairs about 50% of the time, it's super sluggish and it drinks gas like no other haha

So GM has not built anything over a 3500 for a year.
They are not going to any more.....
They are going to use Isuzu cab over chassis.

Mine has the 6.6l dura crap in it.....junk!
The sister truck has been in the shop for a month now.....
This th8ng cant even get out of its own way with out setting an engine code!

We had two chevy 5500's, 1 f650, lots of f450's/f550's, 3 international 4300's, 2 international 4700's, and a few of the ram 5500's. With employees driving all of themthey will all break and all need work. I felt that the internationals really hold up the best. The dt466 is work horse and super reliable. We had one good chevy 5500 and one that was constantly broken and one that never needed anything. The f650 was fair but it was semi challanging to get parts for. The cab had its own diag system, the drivetrain had a different diag system, and the abs was its own as well. The ford f450/f550's were mostly 6.0 psd and would blow up all the time. I think we put a motor in 2 trucks every year. Had 2 v10 trucks and 1 hemi and allthough they were light duty the were super reliable.

Ya the older f650's were kinda a electrical nightmares.
6.o psd was a turd from the first to the last. The 6.4 was not much better.
To bad the DT 466 is not made any more. They have improved the wire harnesses alot.
The dodges we have are only in for brakes. The hemi is super reliable and the cummins just go.
Thus why I kinda lean to the f650 as they can be speced with the cummins over psd.
Looks like we are getting some international dura stars for our new service trucks.
With palfinger 8,000lb crains.

Ours had a 5.9 in it. I think it was an 05 or maybe an 06. It wasn't very powerful empty but had the same amount of power loaded, over loaded, or empty. The dt466 is by far the best in my book.
