Any trails around Crested Butte and Buena Vista tend to show great colors from my experience.

I am hoping to do some of the trails just east of Red Cliff and Camp Hale that connect into Shrine Pass. There are some spetactular trees near Holy Cross wilderness just to the west that would be neat to see from there.
Also for close to home and where you are familiar - some good spots on the southern end of rampart range road. Guanella Pass is also well known, but it will literally be completely jammed up traffic on weekends. Kenosha Pass has some good spots - I would like to run Twin Cone there as well.

We ran Geneva Creek & Guanella this weekend and some of the trees were already starting to turn. It was quite lovely!

Boreas Pass is well known for great colors when you hit it at prime time. It is dirt but not 4 wheel drive. Runs from Como on the 285 side to Breck.
