...but not new to Colorado! Hi all, my name is Jenni, or Jen, people call me both (hence my clever username ha). I live up in Summit County and was pointed over here by Chad, another fellow explorer owner from explorerforum.com as he posted up a link of his most recent trip report and I thought I'd sign up here too. I've done a fair share of wheelin, but usually it's just a means to get me to remote camping/biking/rock climbing/hiking spots...but that doesn't mean I'm not down for a trail run just for fun. I've been having too many projects on my explorer to get out recently but I'm buttoning them up and can hopefully join in soon.
I have a 2003 2door Ford Explorer Sport, lifted up a bit on 33s, regeared...limited slip rear, skipped having a locker put in for now since half of my life up here is driving on crappy snowy/icy roads, but as long as there is clearance I haven't had any issues getting through stuff. I've done most of the trails in the Ouray/Telluride region, including Black Bear Pass. I scrounged up a few pics -
older pic from black bear pass, truck looks a bit different now

and of course the poser shot -

had a new bumper and spare fabbed up and i put it on this summer, and some fresh trail "pinstriping" haha - this was a few months ago, I just finished a project rolling on a dark gray bedliner product called Monstaliner, had too many issues with rust and cracking paint. Looks pretty cool, I'll update with a new pic soon.

That's all for now! Hopefully that is an OK intro, I tend to be wordy. :D
