At least YouTube.com seems to be coming back to the norm from all of their different URL's of the past many months (though the first URL here is one of the oddballs).

I'd guess they had a fair bit of flack from forum users trying to insert vid's and the vids not displaying correctly (forums want the classic "http://www.youtube.com/" format).
