Hey everyone, trying to decide on a birthday gift that my wife has offered to get me. I'm either going to get a rolling tool chest or a kegerator. Budget is around 800 or so. I found this toolbox that I like:

Haven't really found a kegerator yet but I want one that is pretty nice quality of I'm going to spend that much. What do you guys think? I feel like both items are vital in a mans life haha

Toolbox (it's a lifetime item - buy it once and use it forever)
Fill it with tools to make the kegerator you want.
EDIT: Consider NOT putting it on wheels - it makes it harder to steal and how often would you move it around your garage anyway. When you want to move it - remove the drawers and then cart the chassis (or temporarily put the wheels on).

Tool box. No brainer there.
As Jim stated lifetime investment.
They are no fun to move from one home to a new one but so worth it.

Yu guys are convincing me haha. What do you think of the menards toolbox? It has pretty good reviews, and I've looked at it in person and it seems nicely built.

Toolbox. I wouldn't spend near that much on a kegerator. Buy one that works well and paint it/decorate it to match your taste. As for the toolbox, check out the slides on the drawers and don't get anything that doesn't have ball bearing slides. If you're going to have problems with a toolbox, it's usually crappy slides, or really flimsy metal for the drawers.

Why not both ??????
I have seen a tool box " Somewhere " that had a side box converted to a fridge.
Im sure with a little thought an in box kegarator can be done !!!

I would certainly go with the box if you don't already have one. A year from now you will wonder how you ever lived without it.
Just a thought, I think there is a VERY similar box at Costco. I think it sells for $600ish. That might leave some $ in your budget for both!

Buy the tool box, find a kegerator on craigslist for $150 to $200

I do not know if you have access to Costco, but I like the ones I got from there http://www.costco.com/Kirkland-Signature%E2%84%A2-42%22-Mobile-16-Drawer-Tool-Chest.product.100148149.html

Tool Box.
I bought a Husky work bench box for my husband two years ago. Then my son-in-law got tool box envy so I bought one for him.

Mine is very similar. I got it from Costco about 10 years ago. It is stainless, otherwise nearly the same. Love it.
