How much metal do you need to take off? I just have a cheap sawzaw from Harbor Freight that I don't care if it breaks, but don't want to leave you with just half the job done. I also have a pneumatic cut off wheel, but no air compressor. Or the wheel can be chucked to an electric drill as an option.

Definitely going to need at least a grinder w/ cut off wheels and a grinder wheel, and then a welder. I'm in Denver right now and unfortunately all my equipment is in Longmont otherwise I'd come knock it out for ya. If anyone has thise tools you could borrow I can come and help.
