Well Brandon, I'm not as experienced as you, I don't have a winch and the ranger I spoke with said he wouldn't recommend it. I talk to Murphy enough as it is. Let the name calling commence :D

Its all good man.
We will get you baptized to snow wheeling.
The ranger is right red can be harsh with snow an ice.
Time will give you the experiance.
And as funds allow your rig will get the good upgrades.
We have a great group here tons of knolage and skill.

Saran wrap next weekend???

I may down for that one Brandon. I need to hit Mt. Rosa that's right there too. I'm doing a write up on it didn't get enough pics when I ran it the first time. I ran FSR 379 a while back which saran wrap connects to and FSR 379 had been bladed all the way to FSR 376 where the creek crossing is. I'm one of the snow sissy's though, it would be a little dependant on if there's snow, and if so, how much. I almost rolled my 79 Bronco when I was 19 in Lefthand with few inches on the ground. Never have been brave enough to try snow again!!

Not sure the conditions down there but saran wrap is to maintaine about the same levels as mettberry/longwater/hackett. We wheel down there offten in the winter.
As for not wanting to risk a slide and roll I get it.
I have had some bad things happen in the snow.
Yet just as bad on dry rock.
Its all in who you are out with and how well prepared everyone is.

Well I will put it up and see what the responce is like.
I may try to figure out how to get there from cedar mt. road.
