The store at Kipling and Bowles in Littleton has a BUNCH of open box items which are already marked down. They have a sign out front, 75% off the markdown price. I walked out with about $500-$600 worth of tools for $73. :)

Some of the tools are on the tables out front, some are in the store. For the most part they are complete, but look them over before you buy. Good news is that you have 5 days to return it if there is something wrong.

Stopped at HF again today as I was driving by. They marked everything from 75% to 90% off, and it appears that all the open box are now gone. :)

Do you know why they are marking it down that much? Are they going to close that store location?

Seems like they were just getting rid of the open box stuff. This was stuff that was returned or had been a floor model. My dad picked up a 170 amp 240v welder for me for $35. He also got me a spot welder for $18. Both had the box opened, but had not been out of the box. They were basically brand new.
