As far as i know there is only two companies that make a winch pushbar for my 91 Rodeo so i decided to build my own and thats my first step with my rodeo is the bumper then im going to lift it put 33x12.50 r15 on it then who knows what.

About to do the second cut and bending for the sides

This is what it will hopefully look like when I'm done. The hood scoop will come later on.

Got the second bends done. Have to pick up more cutting blades then it's off the cut the shape. Then back to the metal surplus for some 1/2inch steel for the bracets for the winch and bumper bracets.

I believe it is 1/4inch. And thank you.

It might be 1/8

1/4 is really thick, i bet you have have something more like 1/8. Keep the updates!

Will do! Got to get thick stuff for the winch mount and to mount the bumper to the truck!

I had to google that to know what you were talking about. Just an unusual way to break the steal in my opinion. Granted most of my bumper experience has come from building it from sheet, rather than channel.

Well it makes bending it easy and it gives a good point to weld to on the top and bottom of the bumper

The bumper is on just need the finishing touches and acc. And winch mount.
