Hi, my name is Dustin. Im 32 years and have lived in Colorado since i was 12. I have only been wheeling for a few years now but am completely addicted to off roading.
I have an '04 jeep liberty with a 3" suspension lift (ome with bilstein shocks) and 30.5" all terrains. It's my first 4x4 and have done all the work myself.
My wife and I love wheeling this lil rig and now that we have a 1year old little boy we dont get out nearly enough. As soon as he's old enough im sure he'll be out wrenching with me and excited to go out on the trails.
Alot of people dog on the liberties for being a independent front suspension but it does pretty well for just being a little guy. If anyone on here needs help or advice with a liberty please let me know, im always happy to help!
Not sure how to post pics of my rig :/

Howdy.

Posting pictures you need an external host website. photobucket, googlephotos something like that. Copy the image url and past it in the picture icon on the top of your text box. Third one from the left, click on it and paste the link.

People do make fun of liberties but they are still good rigs. When my mom had one and I took it out a couple times and it held it's own.

Welcome to the group.

As for pix, if you're using a mobile device, remote hosting is probably your best route. If you're on a conventional computer (Win/Mac/*nix), the "Go Advanced" and "Upload" route is a good option.

Welcome. Glad you're here. I'm new as well and going to have a go at the China Wall run on March 5. Check it out in 'calendar' at the top.

Hypoid-
The front get its lift from stronger rate coil springs with a stock height shock. Also clevis(shock forks) can be raised for another 3/4" or so but i need upgraded control arms for any more lift up front.
Rear is just like any coil spring lift with longer shocks. Its surprisingly easy to work on!

Hello, and welcome!!

Don't listen to the IFS naysayers. A couple people I have wheeled with were genuinely surprised at just what an IFS Explorer is capable of. As long as you have fun, that's all that matters.
