Leila asked how the Auto Save function works. I hadn't given it any thought so I looked into the function.
Every 30 seconds, when you are composing a post or PM, a message will pop up stating "Auto-Saved" (bottom right corner of the message composition box [for my system]). That text is saved in a database table of the forum. Should you lose a post (browser bombed, etc.), simply navigate back to the same screen you were at when the error happened and look for an "Restore Auto-Saved Content" button (bottom left corner of the message composition box [for my system]) and click it.

The screen shots, below, show the message and button.
