I'm somewhat the same - crazy and it's still a bit cool so I'm not work'n on the jeep (right rear calipur, which is new, and this is the "second" unit, is 99% going back for another replacement). These 1982 Caddy Eldorado rear brake calipurs (with built-in e-brake system utilizing the hydraulic piston) seem to be touchy with the e-brake system's one-way self adjusting mechanism not working properly.

The driver's side, when I toggled the eBrake assy at the calipur, adjusted out the slack in the brake pads. Pass side - no dice - slack stayed there and it did not adjust. The internal mechanism likely isn't working.

That was an unlucky turn of events you had there. Sounds like things are coming together for you though?
We have a group heading toward the gulches Saturday (Hackett, Mettberry, Longwater) I'm wondering if snow is going to be a factor on these, if so, don't think I want to go. I saw that another group will be at Slaughterhouse, and I believe a 3rd doing a clean up at Bunce. I'm chomping at the bit to get out again.

the gultches should be clear with the heat we are having, mettberry could be a mud pit.
