I see there was a thread started for Metberry but it looks like it went nowhere so I知 starting a new one. Plan is to start Saturday (5-7) sometimes in morning and run Metberry, do some fishing and camp at the bottom and run Longwater Sunday morning. And for those who can do two days, we can meet up either Saturday or Sunday. Looks like we are getting to the end of the snow days so we should be good to go. I値l post the run to the calendar.

Hi Louis - trip sounds great but too much good skiing to be out wheeling just yet. Plus I am trying to pull out the transmission to replace clutch. Think I will also try to regear the TC with terralows since I will have it all apart. Giving myself a few weeks to do this as I am skiing a bunch on weekends and have a weeklong river trip through hells canyon in idaho end of may. Want to have it back together for june and beyond.
If the skiing goes bad I might take the truck down metberry and ride along for longwater. ..but probably skiing.

I hear you James, We were up at Breck last weekend and it was a blast, now since it is closed I figure that I might have a couple of times at A-Basin. At the same time I知 ready to go and do some wheeling as the weather permits. Good luck with the re-gearing and the clutch, let me know if you need any help with it.

Hey Louis, just curious, what side of woodland do you want to meet up at? The side by Divide or Westcreek?

I'm not sure yet, are you trailering your rig? I have to mine so I need somewhat secure place to leave my truck and trailer.

Yep, I will be trailering the rig, thats kinda why I asked. The side by Divide has the OHV parking area which I have left my truck overnight before with no issues and trailwise, it is closer to the 3 gulches. I can make it up the steep hill with the trailer on the Westcreek side and have left my truck there as well without any issue but is farther away from any trail. I might be bringing the overhead camper along so in that case it would be the Divide side for sure. Divide is more diesel and takes longer depending which way you go but I think in proximity to the trails it makes sense.
The weekend before last I was up on the ATV with the camper and there was a big tree blocking the OHV area and downed trees EVERYWHERE, this time I will bring my chain saw!
So if all goes to plan, I will most likely leave Friday afternoon for Divide camp out close by the entrance and then meet you Saturday morning at whatever time you want to be there. Camp till Sunday morning then leave early for mothers day activities. I will be ok to meet you at either entrance.

it looks like that Saturday will be the only day, I'm still up for it, we can rum both Metberry and Longwater same day as the weather permitting. Divide sounds like the ideal meeting place, please send address GPS location for the parking lot

When I posted this run I didn稚 realize that it was Mother痴 Day weekend so we are changing the run for Saturday only, plan to run both Metberry and Longwater.

Its looking like I'll be able to join on Saturday. I'll be hauling my K5 rig on the trailer for its first time out. When you have the parking lot info, I'll be looking for it...and a meeting time too!
Thanks!

Looks like we will be headed up there hopefully around noon today. I will have another 4runner with me but please be patient with him as he is still working some bugs out of the thing. We will see you all at 9am at the OHV parking area.!

I'll be up and loaded early. I'll send you a PM with my contact info. Happy to meet in Monument and roll out toward Divide together. I'll be coming down 105 to Monument in the AM so that would work out well. Thanks Louis!
