I may or may not have an issue with my clutch cable. The other day I was driving my truck and the clutch was like normal a little loose (push the pedal around with no effort) but for the most part firm. Once leaving my destination and heading home the pedal only had about an inch of firmness to the pedal and the rest of the pedal travel was completely loose as though it wasn't even hooked up to anything.
So with that I replaced my clutch today (didn't finish) and the pedal still is really loose. I wasn't able to bleed my clutch but was about to get everything at least bolted in. So the question is could to looseness of pedal be from the old clutch and just needing to finish the job or the cable attached to the pedal? Any help is appreciated.
