Looking to get some runs in before I start my new job on 9/5. I haven't wheeled the new Dak yet because I was waiting on new shoes. Now that I got'em as well as time I'm itching to go. Let me know if you're up for a run around Larimer or Boulder counties.
Disclaimer: Wife takes priority on weekends but if she has no plans I'm getting the Dak dirty

I got invited by a few buds to go camping up Rollins today. I'd be down to run those others some time the next week. Let me know your availability. My schedules probably more open than yours. :2thumbup:

I'm hoping to be available on Friday 9/2, any interest in running Jenny Creek or Kingston Peak? Open to other suggestions as well

Wife has declared, by royal decree, that we are road tripping these couple of weeks. We just got back from a few days in El Paso County and we leave again on Wednesday for several more days out and about in central and southern CO. I managed to negotiate fishing into our itinerary but we wont have time for trails. Sucks cause I know there's awesome ones just off the Hwys.

You could always coordinate some wheeling into the trip. IF you visit the Great Sand Dunes, you can go over Medano Pass on the return trip. It is a fairly easy pass with some water crossings that should be low this time of year. Cuts a LOT of mileage off the drive, and might even save you an hour or so compared to highway driving. There are other similar passes that can be a "shortcut" and get you off the beaten path!

Adding to Jeff's comments I'll add that Hermit Pass is fun too and has great views from the top.

Medano looks like a lot of fun.:) We're trying to get from Salida to Pueblo via GSD in one day without it being too rushed. I'm putting it on the table but its makes the GSD to Pueblo leg about 4hrs rather than 2. I dont know how our great dane pup is going to do with that kind of long bumpy ride.
