CLOVERDALE, Ore. — The rock formation at Cape Kiwanda in Oregon always looked like it was teetering on the edge of collapse, but this week it finally came down, reports CBS station KOIN in Oregon (http://koin.com/2016/09/04/cape-kiwanda-rock-formation-collapses/).
State park officials didn’t initially believe it was destroyed by people. But video shared with KOIN 6 News shows a group of young people pushing it until it topples over.

Unsure what the penalty is for vandalism in a state park. I suppose it is pretty severe. State prison isn't generally as tough as federal prison though. They should get hard labor breaking rocks in prison.

Funny how they said the same thing the morons at Goblin Park did, that it was a safety issue. There are seats all along the bell curve... I'd like to see them get a big fine that can only be paid via pay check deduction (so mommy and daddy can't cover it) and a few hundred hours of community service.

i guess the maximu fine they can get is like $400.....
I think it needs be far far higher
and agree with you pual it needs be a payroll deduction so mommy an daddy dont pay it. At the same time mommy an daddy need some punishment as well for rasing these kids with no respect for public lands and million year old things like this rock formation.
