hydrogen is way over due.

BMW built a 5 series about 10 years ago....it worked and well!

I was reading the other day that California has a pilot program to build fueling stations. I think they had about a dozen or so now and will have 50-60 by next year. I guess they must have gotten more comfortable with safety risks. The problem has always been the high explosive nature of hydrogen fuel cells (you don't want to be anywhere near a tank of liquid hydrogen when it blows up... makes gasoline explosion look like a camp fire).
