I don't know anything about Sami's and wonder if this was an early version.

Wow, never have seen such an animal. From the tires it almost looks like it had a military application.

pretty sure thats a jimny sj20. could be wrong on the model but definitely a jimny. from the mid 70s. it is the predecessor of the samurai.

Exactly. It is a 2 cylinder 2 stroke engine. They made a convertible version as well. Kind of an oddity.

Thanks! Nice to know since I had never heard of the Jimny. If you look at the hood you can kind of make out the Samurai badge that someone put there.

in asia they mae the jimny for many years, same era when we had the samurai. they even had a turbo'd motor in them. a friend of mine was stationed over there for a few years and bought one while he was there. not sure what he did with it when he moved back stateside but i know he brought the hood back to put on his sami.

Yup it's an sj20.
Rare on this side of the world.

Suzuki makes some cool old iron for sure.
