Great writeup. Is there an obvious return route back to denver that would take 3-4 days?

You could do it backwards but take Imogene out of Telluride.

One could swap out tincup pass for Hancock pass or add Napolean Pass in after Tincup. One would head toward Gunnysack via pitkin rather than the taylor park route.
