Okay, I need a bit of help here as I've pulled my handheld out of the drawer and charged it. What frequencies am I most likely to find activity?

I am still really new to it. Northern Colorado Amateur Radio Club has a net Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 on 447.275. Not sure how far it reaches.

There is also a network of repeaters that connect all throughout Colorado but I have never connected to it.

There is also a fairly new linked network of digital (DMR) repeaters being built out, but I'm not very familiar with them as I don't have digital equipment.
