What happened to IH Scout

Some interesting 1980 concept Scout vehicles. To me the big one looks more like a s10 Blazer front end and a Range Rover or something in the back - not XJish to me as the article implies. I got down this worm hole looking into the IH SSV - interesting little 4x4 concept.

To bad that IH got sued for there 0lacement of the 4x lever, thus the demise of the passenger trucks.

That's awesome!! My first car was a 1979 Traveller, the second to last year of the scout. They stopped making them in 1980 due to not being able to meet emissions at a reasonable price, but this dealership did not close and sold his last brand new Scout in 1991: http://jalopnik.com/5665653/the-last-international-harvester-dealership
