I had an 01 extended cab Taco, TRD, SR5, 4wd, with a 5spd manual transmission and factory locker.

Pro's
It hauled ass down desert roads and handled very well
Having a locker was pretty cool.
I liked the sound of the catback TRD exhaust
Comfy ride on washboard desert roads
The brakes are fantastic
A/C and Heat are awesome.

Con's
You have to remove the skid plate to change the oil filter
Door lock actuator started failing at around 80,000 miles
It's kind of a dog. Even with the upgraded exhaust and a K&N filter, it was doggy and that was in AZ with stock tires.
Fuel economy wasn't the greatest. IIRC, the best I got highway was 20-21mpg.
They're pretty small inside but that might not be a problem for you since you're buying a CC. If mine was a CC, I'd probably would have kept it.
Used market prices are retarded for these trucks.

I sometimes miss mine and the only reason I got rid of it was because I needed a bigger truck for work. Hindsight being 20/20, I should've kept it and bought a beater for work.

I am actually looking for some measurements from one... Just curious how it compares to my truck. Hoping someone has one to measure a few aspects.

Sold mine last year ,but, one of friends stills owns one. What measurement
do you need?

Basically looking to get the length of the cab from the grille/bumper to where the bed meets the cab. Also looking to get a measurement of the length of the bed (from where it meets the cab to the end of the tailgate. The 2 different measurements should be very close to the overall length of the truck (not including bumpers).

It doesn't have to be precise as I am just curious at this point. Thanks!
