The following message arrived and is asking for group activity / involvement for the State of Colorado's "Public Lands Day" celebration. Your comments are appreciated.

Hello,

I am writing to ask for Front Range 4x4 Club’s participation in Colorado’s first annual Public Lands Day on May 20th, 2017. Public Lands Day is a holiday dedicated to organizations, businesses, and Coloradans celebrating the numerous, unique, and beautiful public lands our state has to offer, while keeping in mind the need for their protection and conservation. Colorado is the first state in the nation to establish its own Public Lands Day. We were wondering if your organization could host an off-roading on public lands event, or participate in any way you think would be conducive to your organization. Since it is the first time we as a state will be celebrating the event, we are reaching out to folks we think would be supportive and will make this day a success. Please let us know if you’re interested in helping out. To get more ideas for events and submit your own, please visit http://www.copubliclandsday.com

How did the office of Senator Kerry Donovan find out about this group? I'm just curious.

I don't know. I assume a search engine.

I'd think Senator Donovan is working to publicize this newly created item.

What would be a good "May 20th" trail for an run? Something not snowed in by then...

I'm assuming that other people outside of the group will be there... if that's the case I'd imagine some novices showing up so something fairly easy would be wise.

seems like it would be a good time to do the trail clean-ups if the trails are passable by then.
