My very first trip into the Maze District of Canyonlands was in my 1964 Nissan Patrol in stock configuration. No top, doors, rollbar, or windshield. It did have seatbelts. The center of gravity ends up being so low it is amazingly stable. What a kick to drive. The FJ25 could be a cool little rig to kick around in!

My favorite way to drive my Jeep is no top, tube doors, windshield down, and I agree how stable it feels that way. Just switching from hardtop to softop makes a huge difference is stability. If that was my FJ-25 I'd drive it the same way, it's perfect as is. :thumb:
