A little short notice, but wondering if anyone might be interested in a multi-day trip sometime between 6/1 and 6/5. I'd love to go to Moab (or Needles) as I wasn't able to get the old CJ5 ready in time for my annual spring trip in April. I'd also be open to something else - maybe something in western Colo like the kokopelli trail or something in that area (Gateway etc). Guessing Moab reservations might be full, but I generally use free, undeveloped, dispersed BLM camping (tent and coleman stove style).
For Moab - I prefer to keep it a bit more on the moderate side. I've run Fins but not Hells Revenge - which would probably be about the max of what I would run. I've sun some stuff, and interested to add new trails such as to the NW of Moab in the Monitor/Merrimac area and stuff around the 3-D trail run during safari. Elephant Hill down in Needles would be great (if NP permits are still available).
I could be wherever as early as late evening on Wed (5/31) which might help avoid some crowd for those that are free on weekdays. Overall, Moab proper will be busy and hot no matter what.
