Barbour Fork - Saturday 7-15

Running Barbour Fork on Saturday. Mainly a shakedown run for some repair/mod to the Jeep. Will meet at the trail head at 10:00 and head out by 10:30. The trail is south of Idaho Springs near the end of Soda Creek Road (RD-140). Bring something for lunch if you're so inclined.

Weather looks to be good but there's always a chance of storms.

Sometimes things work out... The battery positive cable (top post) has been only finger tight for the past several weeks as I'd be pulling it off / on / off / on with wiring work. Tonight I went to do a proper tightening and it would not get tight - the lead tang for the nut cracked and separated. Fortunately auto parts stores are open until 10p so it was no worry for tomorrow morning (vice grips need not apply). Out to install cable...
