The monsoonal flow seems to be high this summer. Many of the 4WD roads will be staying wet longer this year, which will mean possible damage from use. Keep on top of the maintenance your adopted 4WD roads need to reduce the amount of repair work. As always, report your hours when you complete your projects.
Caribou (FR505) is closed due to a large boulder in the road above Eldora.
Middle St. Vrain (FR114) and Coney Flats (FR507) will probably close August 18 to repair a 35 foot long bog that has developed. The closure may last through the end of the year as the Forest Service also has a project planned for September to replace the Peaceful Valley campground bridge.
