Cottonwood Pass Rd

I believe Cottonwood Pass rd is closed this summer for paving work. Does anyone know how far in from BV (the east end) you can drive in before reaching the closure. In other words, there are some hiking trailheads along the east side of the pass, and wondering if I can get to them via car.

I was down there earlier this year, it's open just about to the pass and has a LOT less traffic than usual, and less cars at the trailhead. I guess people think its closed all the way and are going other places.

Half closed. Reverse next year.
