How it's done. These guys are awesome!! The original story was going around last week, the driver and his dog walked away (with some injuries).

Nice work.

My take (not knowing anything else other than the vid)

Google map to location
https://www.google.com/maps/place/39%C2%B032'04.1%22N+105%C2%B051'21.4%22W/@39.534462,-105.8564822,185m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x0:0x0!7e2!8m2!3d39.5 34461!4d-105.8559346

With how smashed the jeep is, I think it rolled from the rather narrow upper shelf road, rolled down to the lower switchback, kept rolling, and stopped at the lower road (red map marker).

Narrow section where passengers sometimes choose to get out and walk…

There is a much better one on an ATV page by the guys who found him and got him to the hospital, having some trouble finding it...

This one shows where he rolled from.

Jim i think you're right. That narrow section where the people are standing in that photo is such a bad spot. The scenery is amazing right there too, but loosing focus at that spot is bad news. Last time I drove it, I was scraping my drivers side on the rocks just to keep away from the edge, haha.
