Good morning.

I'm relatively new to the area and new to wheeling. In July, we picked up a 2005 Wrangler Unlimited (LJ) and I'm looking for folks to wheel with. I'm in Broomfield, and have been up on a few trails towards Lyons already. Looking forward to getting out with some other folks to explore all of the great trails around here.

Where from?

The season's nicely underway. Jump in on a listed run or start a run yourself!

We came to Colorado from Dallas. I'm hoping to join the Argentine Pass group next weekend. I found this forum through a post on reddit about that group ride next weekend. I don't have a CB in my Jeep yet, so I'm trying to figure out a solution before next weekend. Is there a good local shop I can get a radio, antenna, mounts, etc at quickly? Quadratec has a nice kit, but I don't think they can get it to me in time to install next weekend.

Welcome to the group. A CB is nice to have on the trail but not a requirement.

Welcome aboard!

Don't worry about a radio just yet. You'll want to ride in the middle of the pack anyway, which gives you the benefit of other people's radios.

Also, don't be bashful about asking for pointers, or help.

Looking forward to Argentine pass tomorrow. Amazon was able to get me everything I needed for CB install. I think I'm set now.

Remember to use an isolated power source....don't need alternator noise!

Enjoy the run tomorrow.
The water crossings should be low and do able.
The end of the track that the river runs down has been leveled out so you should be just fine.

We love this trail.
Spent many a summer up there camping.
Best spot is after the water crossing.
