Hello from Denver

Hi, I just picked up my first 4x4 on Labor Day weekend. We took it out for its (and my) first trail ride last weekend to Devil's Canyon...had a great time, but would prefer to have some company...so here I am!

This is my first 4x4/truck type vehicle; my "having fun with cars" background has been autocrossing and endurance road racing (I traded in a Focus ST, which replaced a Mazda RX-8, which replaced a Miata) -- but I do still have a Miata in the garage. My 6-year old loves the Jeep but I think the jury is still out on how he feels about wheeling.

Looking forward to meeting people and learning more about wheeling!

Welcome. Same story with my almost 6 year old. She claims the Jeep as hers but doesn't necessarily like go wheeling.

He got more into it as the ride went on; I think the bumpiness threw him a bit at first. Also, Dad needs to learn to internalize "slow as possible, fast as necessary," which is the inverse of everything I know. ;)

Hi and welcome! I traded my ST ('14 ST2, Sonic Blue) in on my current Jeep - had the ST for four months, totally planned on getting back into autocrossing...but this Jeep is my 3rd and the four months without one was too tough. I had an LJ and a TJ before the ST. And an '04 SVTF (also blue) before the TJ (which is now owned by a forum member; I sold it to build the TJ). Those Miatas totally killed it in Autocross back in the early '90s when I was involved with the RMSCCA Solo II. So cool!! ENJOY!
