So as most of you know I got a new Jeep.
As well I have been working in Aspen most of the summer.
So I would like to get down to BV and run Chinnamans.
Looking like the 3rd weekend in October
I could run it on a Sunday if we need to to sooner.
I am open to dates.
Putting this out there so we can have a good group

I hear this a pretty challenging route, more than the ratings indicate! Sounds like a perfect Jeep run!

The high end fairings are right.
Not a good one for your ram.
But it is a good time.
My little TJ did just need a tug off a rock dam axle got hung up.

Yep, I've learned 5/6 rated trails are about my limit for the Ram at this point..... man do I want a Jeep Rubicon! I've been looking around ;)

Dream4x4 out of the springs has some nice stuff and they up fit them for trail use!
I love my JKURR!

I am interested in this...but a bit wary of possible body damage. I know Tom with his 2dr JK and 33s used his sliders a bit, and sound like Brandon's TJ with 33s(?) got hung up just a bit. Are lockers needed? My old cj with 33s often has the clearance of 35s due to the short wheelbase... If I had sliders or some body protection I'd be all in, but its not worth damaging decent 50 year old sheetmetal.

My hang ups were on rocks under the body.
Never hit my sliders.
We did it with little issue.
There was an open/open Cherokee with us on 31 and they made it no body damage.
All about tire placement.
Whale tail has a nice spot to get up that's not tough.

So I will be in Aspen for the next 4 weeks.
So If I can do this it will have to be a Sunday.
Any date that work for you all!
We have snow on the peaks here so it's coming!
