A couple of us with full size trucks are looking to get rock sliders fabricated as the options are few and expensive. I'd rather have a set fabricatedand & pay someone here instead of some online company

I have a 2017 Ram 1500 Rebel, crew cab. See pics. I think a strong tube cut the right length with some heavy duty brackets welded to them and bolted to the frame would be fairly easy to fab for someone who knows what they're doing (not me)

Let me know if you think you can do this for me!

Unfortunately Time is an issue for me or I would help out. If you can wait until my slow(er) season this winter might give it a shot. Several years ago I did own a off-road fab business.

Like TJ time is my main constraint but if you want to shoot down the hill we can measure everything up one weekend or evening, grab the materials and then build em in the evenings. Do you have an idea of what you want? I have a 1 5/16" and 2" tube die, looking for an excuse to get a 1.75 though. I also have a full set of dimple dies, MIG and TIG and access to a laser cutter. We can also draw everything up in Solidworks so you can see exactly what you'll be getting.

Time....what's that.
Thus why I traded my TJ work is going to get busy for me but might have some time after Thanksgiving.

Here are some images of the ones I’m building for my 2003 3500. The holes in the top of the steps will be dimpled up for traction; the ones on the angled sides will be dimpled in for a cleaner look. Most of the holes are .75”, a few are .5”. My body style has the door all the way down to the bottom of the body so I had to make the tube come out flat, for your body style I’d look for it to be kicked up at an angle to minimize ground clearance loss. The rectangle tube is 2x3x.120, the round is 1.75ODx.120, mine are designed to be steps since this pig doesn’t do any technical off road but for you I’d suggest .188” or .25” for the rectangle tube and .188” for the round tube. I included three steps; front door, back door and bed access. The outside edge of the tube sticks out almost as far as my tires.
