I've been watching this series and really like it. here's the first three episodes, he's posted up to #7 on youtube so far.
"The subject of this series:The Canning Stock Route is a track that runs from Halls Creek in the Kimberley region of Western Australia to Wiluna in the mid-west region. With a total distance of around 1,850 km (1,150 mi) it is the longest historic stock route in the world. Once used as a route for cattle droves following a series of wells, it is now mainly used by adventure seekers looking for a challenge and solitude in the Australian outback. The last cattle drove the route in the 1930's."
